Management of litigation and arbitration brought by or against the corporation, including the areas of products liability, commercial and related fields Responsibility for government investigations involving the Corporation Management of outside litigation counsel Coordination and cooperation with the attorneys in other operating units on litigation issues, including advising on potential litigation and related issues Communication to business clients on status of litigation matters Your ideal qualification You should have a successful completion as a fully qualified lawyer with honors degree in Germany (Volljurist/in) or a comparable degree in another European nation. In addition you provide: At least five years of experience in handling litigation and governmental investigation matters in Europe, either in a company or at a law firm, including experience on complex, international matters Experience in responding to U.S. discovery or working on U.S. litigation matters preferred Strong business partner orientation, ability to counsel business clients on litigation matters as well as on litigation avoidance Personally you are characterized by your strong analytical thinking and acting, your good communication skills as well as by your team orientation and spirit.
