  Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:Leads or supports major equipment engineering project teams, with internal and external technical staff, to develop equipment engineering solutions to significant new projects on a worldwide basis. Develops plans, scope, and estimates for equipment, personnel, and funds required to carry out programs to reach overall organizational objectives for Global Pharmaceutical Operations.Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies. Implement major line improvement or capital projects, and make major impact decisions. Major Responsibilities:Develop, plan, coordinate, and direct equipment engineering aspects of projects of major scope and importance. Work with marketing, product development, and manufacturing to establish scope, priorities, and schedules on multiple projects. Regularly requires use of ingenuity and creative thinking. Focuses on cost and milestone achievement to keep costs low and productivity high.
