  Diagnostic products are used for the early and acute detection of a medical condition which can lead to effective medical treatment. The product portfolio includes diagnostic kits for Thyroid Function, Fertility and Pregnancy, Cardiology and Metabolic markers as well as Therapeutic Drug Monitoring. The assays that are manufactured are used on various Abbott instruments including the AxSYM, IMx and Architect platforms. These instruments are used in various clinical environments including hospitals, reference laboratories and blood banks.Primary FunctionThe Project Engineer will with little or no supervision, collaborate across multiple sites, applying engineering knowledge to complete complex assignments as required in line with the strategic requirements of ADD Division. This role will manage relevant divisional engineering projects that will require leadership, technical competency and excellent communication skills to drive solutions across multiple sites.Develop engineering solutions for products and processes; implements major line improvements.
