As the Country project leader you will work directly with senior leadership to drive the project delivery of the ‘financials to filing’ process, and through utilization of rigorous project planning metrics focused on milestone related compliance. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project and ensure scope remains focused statutory and tax compliance for all GE entities in Germany. You will be responsible for effectively applying the ‘financials to filing’ methodology and enforcing project standards through operating reviews with the local GBS team and business finance teams. You will be working on the GBS Stat and Tax Compliance Initiative, which is a project focused on standardizing the development of statutorily compliant, consolidated financial statements and tax filing procedures utilized by GBS branch and GE Business teams operating in Germany. You will work closely with GE business finance & tax leaders, Corporate Tax leaders, Corporate Accounting project team and the GBS Germany Stat team to resolve disconnects which prevent statutory and tax filing compliance.
