Job Description: General purpose / objective of job: Responsible together with the Product Segment Heads for the short-term and long-term profitability and achievement of BL targets Overall management responsibility for the finance & business administration function within the BL Member of the BL Board and accordingly involved in all decisions with major impact on the BLs profitability Key tasks: 1. Operational part: Providing of all business relevant financial information Monthly / quarterly / annual planning, rolling forecast (BL, PLs and segments) Reporting and analysis of the financials and the actual business status (BL, PLs and segments) P&L and cost management (pricing, GM/CoGS, R&D, Sales, G&A, SP) “What if analysis” (e.g. impact of x% yield change, product transfer, change of package, change of product mix) Asset-management (inventory, investments, receivables) Headcount controlling Calculation and monitoring of product plans Through cost and cash flow management improve the Return on Investment (and other KPI's) and therefore, the Division's cash flow position Controlling of production capacity together with marketing and operations Suggest and, in agreement with the BL Head, implement actions to improve the profitability Negotiation of transfer prices, accounting o ...
