For Eurocopter in Donauwörth within the area “Programmes/Airplane Door Systems/Airplane Door Systems Engineering” for the department “Design” we are looking for a Metallic Design Manager (m/f). Your responsibilities will include:- Line and resource management for both internal and external development engineers within the light metal design department - Technical management and coaching of development teams for the various programmes- Management of the development of design principles and the design of light metal structures and components, taking into account manufacturing and cost aspects in a customer specifications and regulatory requirements context- Management of the Metallic Design department methods and processes - Drawing-up of technical offers and specifications- Definition of work packages and monitoring of external engineering suppliers and international development partners- Transfer of know-how within the department between the series-production and development programmes- Collaboration with universities, third-level institutions and research institutes- Further development of light metal structure technology for aircraft doors and cargo doors We are looking for candidates with the following skills:- University degree in aviation and aerospace technology or ...
