About the JobThe individual in this role will be responsible for coordinating and managing the capacity planning activities for the Network Strategy team in EMEA, to create long-term capacity plans; to setup tactical plans with the network account managers and to track the overall progress of adding capacity. The Network Capacity Planning Manager needs to generate applicable forecasts, models & reports to drive efficient deployments, ensure available capacity to meet growth targets and support product development. In addition, the individual will work within the Networks and Product team globally to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of the organization, ensure capacity purchased is appropriately sized and is managed appropriately over its useful life.About the TeamThe Networks team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Akamai’s network. In that role, the Networks team is responsible for establishing, managing, maintaining and establishing business relationships with network and datacenter operators, both mobile and fixed-line, around the world.
