Power Systems offers turnkey systems and services for power transmission anddistribution grids, and for power plants. Substations and substation automationsystems are key areas. Additional highlights include flexible alternatingcurrent transmission systems (FACTS), high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systemsand network management systems. In power generation, Power Systems offers theinstrumentation, control and electrification of power plants. The division issubdivided into four business units.   The Project Director is responsible for the successful execution of assigned projects on-time, within budget, as per Contract Agreement and with on- quality & safety framework of ABB. You can expect the following tasks:- Project planning and scheduling- Plans critical path, monitors and controls project activities to maximize cash flow- optimize overall resource planning and utilization- Works proactively to set customer expectation to assure acceptance of project deliverables and enhance long term customer satisfaction- Controls project finances for maximized cash generation- Commands terms and conditions sufficiently to screen and accept/decline project changes and claims- Creates effective reports to all stakeholders- Assures avoidance of liquidated damages and minimizes risks   - De ...
