Join our offshore wind energy team and manage an international team of engineers responsible for the grid integration of RWE’s European portfolio of offshore wind power plants. Your leadership and professional experience will help you to deliver company engineering standards. Your tasks: 1. providing strategic direction for the grid integration group within the offshore business unit’s offshore engineering team; ensuring that the grid integration, concept design and grid compliance strategy on projects is clear, coherent and appropriate to the project profile and meets the company’s requirements2. building, leading and maintaining a team of technical grid integration specialists, based in diverse geographical locations, capable of providing fully effective support to the offshore business throughout the project life cycle3. taking responsibility for key technical recommendations (in the area of grid integration) on all projects throughout the project life cycle; being aware of and accountable for key technical recommendations made by the grid integration team4. developing, designing and delivering robust, but cost-effective designs for RWE Innogy’s offshore wind projects and, where necessary, their associated offshore transmission systems5. managing the technical aspects ...
