In this position you are responsible for the Technical support for all non-destructive testing activities related to erection and commissioning for an erection site, in particular NPP or fuel cycle sites with special emphasis on Radiographic (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT). Your duties will be as follows:   Provide technical advice and support to Mechanical Inspectors in relation to NDT activities Act as the primary source of expertise for NDT methods at both NPP and fuel cycle worksites Establish Project requirements for all NDT activities in accordance with the applicable Specifications, Codes and Standards Advise on NDT methods selection and implementation Oversee the development and qualification of NDT procedures Maintain close liaison with the Site Inspection Representative for NDT matters Monitor and oversee the activities performed by the Inspectors Monitor the performance of NDT operators and technicians from the sub-suppliers Provide training and instruction on NDT issues for Inspectors Collate and analyze data for performance feedback and improvement Assist in vendor evaluation and selection Provide technical and commercial assistance in the preparation of tenders Approve suppliers NDT procedures Provide support and guidance to suppliers to resolve inspection issues ...
