In this position you are responsible to develop and execute the Manufacturing Engineering Strategy for our local sites in Hannover and Gronau. You lead or support projects for new manufacturing processes and develop strategies in alignment with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Team for local production. This means in detail: Provide manufacturing technology expertise to support the local production teams in Hanover and Gronau Development and deployment of new procedures and tools for manufacturing engineering improvement related to all site products in Hanover and Gronau Design manufacturing processes and establish appropriate standards in conjunction with Six Sigma Lean Align with Global Manufacturing Engineering team initiatives and support concurrent engineering and productivity programs Act as an internal cross-functional expert providing guidance and consultation supporting the lean production transformation Responsible for introduction of Total Production Maintenance Support of project leaders in project planning and usage of common WABCO tools (ProjX 2.0, GCC in PLM; Manufacturing Engineering Tools and Templates) Support site leader reviews of top site launch projects and follow up of resulting action plans Identify engineering talents and support Value Stream Leaders ...
