Experteer Overview
In this Clinical Development Medical Director role, you lead strategic medical input and end-to-end development for renal clinical programs. You will drive execution of the clinical development plan and collaborate in a matrix, cross-functional environment to align with global trial objectives. You shape safety, efficacy interpretation, and regulatory documentation while partnering with Global Trial Directors and regional teams. This position offers impact by guiding programs from PoC to later stages, supporting a patient-centric development strategy. You will work with external and internal stakeholders to advance development decisions and ensure scientific excellence.
Aufgaben
- Provide clinical leadership and strategic medical input for clinical deliverables in the assigned project or program section
- Lead development of clinical sections of trial and program-level regulatory documents
- Drive execution of the assigned clinical program and/or trial in partnership with global line functions, GTDs, and regional medical associates
- Support (Senior) Global Program Clinical Head in safety oversight of the molecule and participate in the Safety Management Team
- Support the Clinical Development Head by providing medical input into CDP, IDP, and CTP reviews, and contribute to disease standards
- Act as medical expert in interactions with external and internal stakeholders and decision boards
- Potentially work with NIBR to transition pre-PoC projects to DDP and with BD&L on target identification and due diligences
Zentrale Anforderungen
- MD or equivalent with advanced clinical training
- Clinical practice experience 4 years (including residency) and board certification/eligibility preferred
- Minimum 7 years in clinical research or drug development (Senior 10+ years)
- Experience in Phases I–IV and global/matrix clinical trial activities
- Ability to interpret and present efficacy and safety data
- Strong scientific partnerships with stakeholders
- Knowledge of GCP, trial design, statistics, and regulatory development processes
- Previous global people management experience preferred
