In this role you lead a large Spain-based data center operations organization within AWS, owning end-to-end facility performance across multiple data centers. You will drive operational excellence, safety, and uptime while partnering with regional and global teams. You’ll shape strategy, mentor managers, and tackle complex infrastructure challenges at scale. This position offers visibility across AWS and a chance to impact customer experience by ensuring reliable data center performance.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and develop high-performance data center operations managers
- Drive operational excellence through benchmarks and continuous improvement
- Oversee maintenance, expansion, and optimization of Spain data center facilities
- Ensure rigorous health, safety, and operational standards
- Strategic vendor and stakeholder management with internal and external partners
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience managing complex technical teams
- Demonstrated expertise in mission-critical facility management
- Comprehensive knowledge of data center infrastructure systems
- Proficient business-level English communication skills
