Experteer Overview

In this role you lead multi-discipline design review and commissioning for Amazon’s critical infrastructure in new builds and special projects. You’ll coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on electrical, mechanical, and control systems, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality commissioning deliverables. You’ll develop test plans, scripts, and documentation, and drive continuous improvement through reporting and lessons learned. This position offers the chance to shape critical infrastructure at AWS with cross-functional collaboration and rigorous safety standards.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Oversee multi-discipline design review and commissioning activities for new construction and special projects
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on systems including MV/LV power, Generators, UPS, HVAC, Chilled Water, BMS, EPMS
Develop and review commissioning documentation and test plans/scripts to ensure design conformity
Ensure commissioning procedures adhere to safety practices and policies
Audit commissioning activities for compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements
Provide input into scheduling, testing, design, and planning of projects
Communicate test documents and progress with ACx Area Manager and Regional Manager
Prepare comprehensive weekly reports on project status, lessons learned, and program improvements

Zentrale Anforderungen

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field with 1 year of relevant experience
or Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent with 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience
Experience in engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or control systems used in critical infrastructures
Ability to review design documentation (drawings, specs, vendor submittals, sequences of operations) and provide feedback
Experience developing and reviewing commissioning documentation (test plans, scripts, reports) for design accuracy
