Aufgaben
- Provide strategic financial leadership to maximize return by analyzing data trends and market signals
- Create and manage the annual operating budget and support budget reviews for productivity gains
- Assess ROI of capital projects and monitor results post-implementation
- Maximize cash flow through inventory, receivables, disbursements, and remittances controls
- Lead day-to-day financial operations, set team goals, and coach staff for performance
- Educate and motivate finance teams to achieve revenue targets and informed decision-making
- Ensure compliant accounting practices and effective payment systems for guest services
- Develop and implement financial controls, records, and audits in line with policy and regulations
- Prepare timely management and ownership reports; coordinate with corporate and external auditors
- Oversee capital processes, fixed assets tracking, and depreciation schedules
- Ensure statutory compliance, risk management, and licensing requirements
- Drive benchmarking and best-practice initiatives to improve revenue, productivity, and costs
- Supervise accounts payable/receivable, payroll, purchasing, and audit functions
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and development of corrective action plans for audit findings
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5–10 years in hotel accounting or audit
- At least 5 years in a Director of Finance or senior supervisory role
- Experience negotiating leases, asset management, and payroll processes
- Professional accounting or finance designation preferred
- Strong analytical/numerical skills and financial valuation knowledge
- Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages desired
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; hospitality IT systems knowledge
