In BeLux, you drive AstraZeneca’s government affairs strategy to enable patient access and scientific progress. You’ll lead priority policy initiatives, manage external reputation, and represent the company to key stakeholders in Belgium and Luxembourg. You’ll partner across Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Communications, and Patient Advocacy to shape policy and reimbursement environments for current portfolios and future launches. This role offers the chance to influence healthcare policy at multiple levels and deliver impactful access solutions in a dynamic environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Build and sustain trusted relationships with government officials, regulators, payers, civil society, clinicians, and patient organizations in Belgium and Luxembourg
Develop and execute a stakeholder engagement plan aligned to patient access and business priorities
Monitor policy, legislative, and regulatory developments; translate insights into actionable positions
Lead end-to-end government affairs strategy for BeLux, including priority setting and scenario planning
Shape policy and reimbursement environments to support current portfolio and future launches
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned positions and timely execution
Develop evidence-based policy positions, briefings, and advocacy materials
Identify mutual interests with policymakers to advance disease area strategies and improve outcomes
Represent AstraZeneca in trade associations and BeLux forums
Ideate policy projects and partnerships to enable timely access and evidence generation for launches
Ensure governance and compliance with Code of Conduct and anti-bribery policies

Zentrale Anforderungen

Master’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Public Policy, Law, Health Economics, or a relevant Scientific field (as stated)
Strong understanding of healthcare environment and reimbursement frameworks in Belgium and Luxembourg
At least 5 years of relevant experience in pharma, government, trade associations, consulting, or politics with focus on health policy or market access
Proven experience in developing and executing government/public affairs strategies
Languages: fluent Dutch/French and English
