Experteer Overview

In this role you will lead paid growth for SmartNews in the US, shaping data-driven acquisition strategies across social, in-app, and other channels with a multi-million dollar budget. You’ll collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and creative designers to turn insights into high-impact campaigns. You will own KPI performance, test roadmaps, and partner with agencies to drive profitable user growth. The position emphasizes influence, cross-functional leadership, and building scalable growth programs. Join a mission-driven team delivering news discovery at scale.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Build, test, and optimize user acquisition campaigns (e.g. Facebook, Google, and many others)
Drive strategy and manage user acquisition agencies, creative production and testing, and ensure the delivery of high impact, measurable results
Provide a strategic business and partnership perspective to the product, operations, business development, and sales teams
Own & deeply understand KPIs and be accountable for growth's role in reaching those goals
Speak confidently to the health of the business, regularly joining business reviews
Drive operational rigor throughout the business, connecting the dots, and making key decisions based on data analysis to execute against the growth strategy

Zentrale Anforderungen

Experienced marketer with a passion for mobile marketing and growth
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to develop data driven insights
Proven track record in driving paid user acquisition across platforms
Comfort working with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and designers
Strong data-driven decision making and ability to translate insights into campaigns
Experience managing budgets and optimizing ROI
