In this role you will provide medical thought leadership to steer strategic decisions, product roadmaps, and market expansion. You will unite Medical Affairs, Medical Safety, and Clinical Affairs to shape innovative clinical strategies and evidence generation. You will oversee complex clinical programs and partner with clinical, academic, and industry stakeholders to advance product development and commercialization. You will build and lead a high-performing team, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory alignment while raising Philips’ scientific visibility.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Provide clinical thought leadership to inform strategy, roadmaps, and market expansion
Lead and align Clinical Affairs disciplines (clinical development, medical writing, clinical research, programming)
Shape and execute complex clinical research programs with internal and external stakeholders
Own strategic planning including workforce, budget, and methodological innovation
Oversee clinical evidence generation, interpretation, and dissemination with regulators and external partners
Lead annual operating plan, resource allocation, and investments
Define strategy and value propositions using market insights
Build internal and external networks and represent Philips in Clinical and Medical Affairs
Lead talent strategy, performance management, and career development
Foster an open, high-performing team environment and cross-functional collaboration
Enable multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust evidence programs
Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
Drive cross-functional collaboration to meet project objectives
Guide organizational transformation and development of scientific capabilities

Zentrale Anforderungen

10+ years of progressive experience in Medical Safety, Clinical Development, Medical Writing, Clinical Research, and Clinical Operations
Proven track record of designing, executing, and leading clinical research in MedTech
Deep knowledge of human research methodology and global regulations across EU, US, and China
6–8 years of people leadership experience managing high-performing teams and complex portfolios
