As an Immigration Attorney at RingCentral in Spain, you will manage end-to-end work permit and dependent residence filings for employees and their families. You will lead a paralegal team to ensure filings include solid legal argumentation and compliance. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage end-to-end filing of work permits and renewals for employees and dependent residence permits
- Oversee an immigration paralegal; review and guide filings to ensure proper argumentation
- Advise employees on documents, travel, compliance, and rights under Spanish immigration law
- Provide legal guidance on filing strategies and compliance for individual and bulk filings
- Liaise with authorities, consulates, and agencies to facilitate processing and resolve complex matters
- Provide regular status updates to employees and HR; deliver reports and KPI data on filings
- Stay updated on legal/regulatory changes and implement internal changes to maintain compliance
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years of experience as an immigration attorney with employment-based filings and visas in Spain
- Spanish – C1, English – B2
- Experience with high-qualified worker permits and EU Blue Cards
- Knowledge of document submission requirements (translation, legalization, apostille)
- Experience handling complex cases and multi-country documentation
- Experience advising multinational companies on immigration compliance and cross-border staffing
- Experience liaising with immigration authorities and embassies to resolve issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Licenciatura en Derecho (or Grado en Derecho + Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía) to meet practice requirements in Spain
