Experteer Overview
In this role you will drive end-to-end planning and inventory health for Amazon’s launch and supply processes. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Coordinate launch system logistics and process improvements with vendors across order management, inventory, promotions, purchasing, production, forecasting, and shipments
- Analyze data with SQL and Excel to manage inventory levels and improve availability and efficiency
- Forecast and manage inbound/outbound inventory flows, including project-based purchasing and removing unproductive stock
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to achieve KPI goals and continuously improve planning performance indicators
- Plan product transitions with the vendor base to optimize space, reduce forecasting errors, and drive operational improvements
- Identify gaps in plans and drive sourcing or material actions to meet schedules
- Schedule and lead meetings with manufacturing partners in the U.S. and globally to reduce shortages
- Coordinate forecasts with corporate, develop build plans, and communicate to stakeholders
- Resolve roadblocks to meet plans and support production ramp decisions
- Monitor and report budgets with finance and other teams
- Serve as primary liaison between OEM and Sunnyvale team to ensure cadence and goals are met
- Generate and distribute reports for planning visibility
- Represent the planning organization in internal program meetings
- Diagnose complex production and supply chain issues and guide stakeholders to resolution
- Lead changes in production, material supply, transportation, and distribution/allocation
- Guide core team on ramp patterns, line speed, overtime assumptions, risk factors, yields and efficiency
- Own and communicate global supply allocation plan to stakeholders
- Create and implement inventory allocation strategies to maximize turns, sales, and customer experience
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 1 year of experience in operations within supply chain, distribution, manufacturing and related engineering operations in a cross-functional setting with quantitative analysis and process improvement
- 1 year of experience conducting statistical analysis and data mining using Excel and business intelligence tools
- 1 year of experience improving working efficiency
- 1 year of experience in material planning with complex data sets
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience or Master's degree with 1 year of related experience (as alternative qualifications)
- Experience in lean process manufacturing and related performance metrics for continuous improvement
