In this role you will develop and improve gas turbine instrumentation, supporting lifecycle management and integration across multidisciplinary teams. You will tackle instrumentation challenges from design to commissioning, ensuring robust measurement chains and alignment with system interfaces. You contribute to our mission of advancing high-performance, reliable instrumentation in a decarbonising power generation landscape. You will work closely with global colleagues, traveling to sites as needed, to deliver impactful instrumentation solutions that support customers and field operations.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Develop and enhance gas turbine instrumentation and manage lifecycle support
Analyze engine requirements, tenders, and contracts to consolidate instrumentation needs
Lead instrumentation development from specification through testing and validation
Oversee measurement chain and ensure proper interfaces with related systems
Advise designers on instrumentation documentation and product structure integration
Provide product support as the primary instrumentation contact across field service, manufacturing, QA, and commissioning
Perform root-cause analysis and analyze instrumentation signals and machine data

Zentrale Anforderungen

University degree in mechanical engineering with relevant specializations
Strong sensor integration design and measurement-chain engineering for harsh environments
Preferably experience with dynamic measurement chains for rotor vibration and acoustics
Preferably experience in power plant, gas turbine, or aero-engine applications
Knowledge of 3D CAD tools; Siemens NX is advantageous
Ability to work in distributed, multidisciplinary teams with complex interfaces
Experience in measurement signal and data analysis; LabVIEW and MATLAB are beneficial
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
Willingness to travel to power plants and sites approximately once a month
