Experteer Overview
In this role, you will oversee on-site planning, engineering, and support for AFLCMC/HNI systems embedded with 16AF and related units. You will lead field operations, coordinate with mission partners, and drive sustainment and upgrade efforts. The position combines hands-on technical work with leadership to keep cyber infrastructure performing at peak. A strong focus is on liaison work, incident updates, and ensuring program visibility across locations. This is an opportunity to shape doD IT sustainment and fielding programs at scale.

Aufgaben
- Coordinate tasks with AFLCMC/HNI PMs, 16AF staff, and Sustainment PM
- Act as technical field representative for Sustainment and facilitate communication between OPS and AFLCMC/HNI
- Represent Sustainment in meetings and conferences and relay information to local units
- Liaise between Operations Community and PMO at fielded locations
- Lead and direct site-level operations and enforce engineering best practices
- Prepare monthly FER Field Report including progress, issues, and risks
- Support planning, engineering, and troubleshooting for AFLCMC/HNI projects and weapon systems sustainment
- Create and manage FER Task Requests for on/offsite engineering work
- Assist in TO and TCTO validations/verifications prior to release
- Travel to bases (up to 20%) and coordinate site surveys and data calls
- Monitor system performance and mitigate risks to ensure stability
- Promote awareness of Sustainment services to OPS community
- Provide status updates on performance and technical issues
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Excellent leadership and ability to manage multi-disciplinary staff
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge of network and systems infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and in a mission-critical environment
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and technical personnel
- Familiarity with DoD procedures and Air Force Information Network (AFIN)
- Experience in DoD Information Network/AFIN or equivalent
- IA Technician (IAT) Level II Certification
- ITIL Foundation (v3+)
- NATO SECRET clearance and SCI eligibility (SSBI favorable)
