As Machine Learning Manager for the Global Siri Organization, you will lead a team building scalable multilingual language technologies that power Siri across international markets. You will own ML architecture, model training and deployment, and guide data-driven decisions to improve the Global Siri experience. You will drive applied research, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the research community. This role offers impact at scale, shaping language understanding for billions of devices worldwide.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead a team of Machine Learning Engineers to build innovative language technologies aligned with business goals
Own and advance SOTA ML technologies for scalable Apple Intelligence experiences and data-driven improvements
Design and execute engineering plans to achieve international excellence for Siri users
Provide regular updates to organization groups and VP-level management with clear prioritization
Oversee data annotation efforts and define language-specific representations and conventions
Manage end-to-end ML projects from inception to release on a global scale
Collaborate with Understanding, Experience, Platform and International teams to ship multilingual capabilities
Guide productization, evaluation, and release management for ML systems

Zentrale Anforderungen

Experience leading engineering teams delivering machine learning technologies and systems
Strong track record of complex engineering project leadership
Expertise in building robust scalable systems for international language understanding
Hands-on experience with training/fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) or related AI models
Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams and communicate with senior leadership
PhD or MSc in related field (note: description states both; role requires advanced degree)
