As a Managing Consultant in the Pacific Northwest, you lead civil and sediment engineering for ERM’s SI/RM practice, guiding multi‑disciplinary teams from concept through construction. You integrate upland and aquatic remediation with permitting and design workflows to protect human health and restore environments. You will shape strategy, adopt digital tools, and strengthen client relationships while contributing to ERM’s global best practices. This role offers regional impact with national influence in a leading sustainability firm.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead civil design and investigation projects from concept to completion
Develop plans for grading, earthwork, stormwater, erosion control, and in‑water features
Support in‑water sediment remediation elements (caps, armor layers, containment, staging)
Evaluate hydraulic, erosion, and constructability for sediment remedies
Apply Civil 3D workflows for grading and upland infrastructure supporting remediation
Coordinate civil/sediment scopes with environmental, geotechnical, and construction teams for permitting
Shape technical strategies and introduce digital tools and analytics
Mentor teams and foster excellence within ERM’s SI/RM practice
Build client relationships and expand ERM’s market presence through delivery and BD

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering
4+ years of consulting experience in sediment engineering and remediation
Civil site design experience for grading, earthwork, and stormwater
Experience preparing plans/specs for remediation/development projects
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, surfaces, drainage, plan production
Knowledge of Pacific Northwest sediment remediation and environmental permitting regulations
Proven project management and team leadership
Excellent communication and strategic thinking
Ability to travel for site visits and meetings
Driver’s license required
