In this role you will drive ocean freight procurement and pricing to support DP World’s global logistics operations. You will partner with operations, sales and local carriers to secure competitive end-to-end solutions and provide transparent buying conditions. You will analyze market conditions, advise on rate structures and capacity, and support tendering efforts to grow non-controlled business. Verantwortungsbereiche

Act as the country contact for daily ocean freight pricing and procurement activities
Manage relationships with local carriers, suppliers, and logistics partners to secure end-to-end solutions
Maintain transparency on buying conditions for internal stakeholders
Collaborate with operations and sales to support business needs
Advise on rate structures, carrier selection, and capacity challenges
Support local, regional and global tendering processes
Provide sales teams with competitive buying rates and selling recommendations
Manage rate requests from DP World overseas and agent networks to grow non-controlled business
Implement follow-up processes and KPIs to measure pricing success rates
Support monthly and quarterly customer rate updates for the sales organization

Zentrale Anforderungen

Minimum 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a strong focus on pricing and procurement
Proven experience in procurement and carrier management within local ocean freight and logistics market
Demonstrated success in negotiating competitive agreements and managing country-level tenders
Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments, including close collaboration with procurement teams
Strong understanding of local market conditions, regulations, and logistics infrastructure
