As an RF PLL Silicon Validation Engineer at Apple, you will lead bring-up and characterization of frequency generation subsystems in cutting-edge transceivers. You’ll verify silicon against specs, using modern software to boost efficiency and collaborate across teams. Your role focuses on RF performance, PLLs, and mixed-signal validation in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment. You’ll apply RF expertise to enable next‑gen mobile devices and contribute to a culture of hands-on problem solving.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own bring-up and characterization of frequency generation subsystems in transceivers
- Verify silicon designs meet specifications using modern software tools
- Perform RF measurements and data analysis to validate performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical solutions
- Analyze measurement results and iterate on designs and tests
- Support lab setup and troubleshooting with standard equipment
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master in Electrical Engineering (RF/Analog or Signal Processing focus)
- Solid foundation in RF and mixed-signal theory (PLLs, LNAs, Mixers, oscillators)
- Familiarity with Phase Noise, Harmonics, IP3, Noise Figure
- Understanding of 5G NR and LTE cellular standards
- Proficiency in Python; experience with AI-assisted scripting is a plus
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies)
- Ability to analyze data with NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib
- Strong collaboration and proactive problem-solving approach
