Experteer Overview

In this role you accelerate delivery of high-quality, cost-efficient software by building reusable DevOps solutions and guiding teams. You will support customer-facing software in a high-tech context, focusing on stability, security, and performance of containerized environments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize workflows, improve tooling, and empower developers through self-service platforms. This is a hands-on, mentoring, and platform-building role that shapes how we operate at scale.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Connect Sioux Projects and Sioux IT to streamline collaboration and identify improvement opportunities
Guide teams in adopting DevOps best practices and drive continuous improvement
Manage and optimize DevOps services running in Docker on Fedora CoreOS for stability, security, and performance
Develop and improve documentation and standards for usage and integration across projects
Contribute to Internal Developer Platform using Backstage, Crossplane, and ArgoCD
Design and implement standardized workflows and self-service solutions for developers
Coach junior colleagues

Zentrale Anforderungen

5–10 years of DevOps experience
Strong experience with Linux-based platforms (preferably FCOS or container-optimized OS)
Experience with Docker and Shell scripting
Experience with Backstage, ArgoCD, Crossplane
Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, and Kubernetes
Ability to translate technical concepts into understandable guidelines for teams
Knowledge of Design Patterns, UML, Agile methodologies
