In this role you shape scalable accounting and revenue operations for a mission-driven FinTech transforming the agri-supply chain. You lead the design of robust processes, improve close and audit readiness, and ensure GAAP-aligned reporting across entities and currencies. You partner across FinOps, RevOps, and Systems to drive reliable financial data and strategic decision support. The position offers exposure to IPO readiness, cross-functional transformation, and a globally scaling business with a strong control culture.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Translate accounting methodologies into scalable, controlled processes
Build and enhance accounting workflows, reconciliations, and revenue schedules
Drive NetSuite enhancements and Sandbox testing for scalable operations
Own revenue recognition policies and O2C processes under U.S. GAAP
Oversee control framework with FinOps, billing, AR, collections, and revenue reporting
Ensure timely close of O2C, reconciliations, and revenue variance analysis
Collaborate with RevOps, FP&A, Legal, and Operations on pricing and contracts
Interpret complex accounting guidance (revenue recognition, CECL, write-offs)
Stay current on FASB/GAAP updates and apply them consistently
Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and audit readiness
Resolve legacy balances and subledger inconsistencies; stabilize books
Lead cross-functional data flow alignment and check-and-balance frameworks
Support revenue optimization, pricing changes, and product launches from accounting perspective
Lead and develop Accounting and Revenue Accounting teams
Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture

Zentrale Anforderungen

8+ years progressive accounting experience; public accounting and high-growth experience preferred
CPA required; MBA or Master’s in Accounting preferred
Strong command of U.S. GAAP including ASC 606, ASC 310, CECL
Experience in PE-backed or venture-backed, high-growth environments
Background in FinTech, SaaS, financial services, AgTech, or tech-enabled platforms preferred
Experience improving close processes and audit readiness; working with external auditors (PCAOB)
Hands-on NetSuite experience (including Sandbox) and finance automation tools
Strong leadership, cross-functional influence, and project management
Experience with international entities, multi-currency consolidation, transfer pricing a plus
IPO readiness or public company experience preferred
