Senior Medical Director, Hematology for BeOne New Markets leads regional medical strategy and medical affairs activities to expand patient access to therapies. You will align regional efforts with global plans, drive HEOR and data generation, and collaborate with R&D, commercial, and cross-functional partners. This role shapes medical leadership across Latin America, Central Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Basel-based with up to 30% travel.
Aufgaben
- Provide regional medical leadership across Hematology and ensure alignment with Global Medical Strategy
- Guide medical data generation to support medical claims and health economics for reimbursement
- Input to R&D on lifecycle management and dissemination of scientific data
- Oversee regional execution of medical strategies to maximize therapeutic and commercial potential
- Act as medical spokesperson for diseases, products, and pipeline topics in the region
- Anticipate regional marketplace changes offering scientific, regulatory or commercial opportunities
- Ensure strong medical support for pipeline and local product planning
- Represent New Markets needs within GMA and with global partners
- Ensure SOPs and local regulatory compliance within the region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial, medical, and clinical development
- Lead and develop dispersed regional teams and foster collaborative culture
- Drive business transformation and complex program delivery
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and regulators
- Travel up to 30%
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Global Medical Affairs experience in Hematology is a plus but robust regional/emerging market experience is essential
- Proven cross-functional collaboration with commercial, medical, and clinical development functions
- Deep understanding of global, regional, and local Medical Affairs capabilities (clinical research, evidence generation, HEOR, medical communication, medical information, publications, PV, compliance)
- Solid grasp of commercialization processes, payer dynamics, and market access
- Experience with national and international regulatory agencies
- Track record of building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and regional partners
- Demonstrated leadership and development of small to mid-size dispersed teams
- Experience delivering transformation programs and complex deliverables
- Fluent English; strong written and oral communication
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
