Experteer Overview

As a Senior Software Developer at Dematic, you will lead and shape complex software projects in our intralogistics domain. You will drive development from requirements to go-live, mentor junior developers, and set technical direction across WCS, MFC, and OFS systems. You’ll work with customers and cross-functional teams to optimize processes in a 24/7 international environment. This role combines hands-on coding with strategic consultation to deliver scalable logistics software.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead development from requirements to go-live
Provide technical leadership and coordinate development teams
Perform code reviews, ensure test coverage, improve processes and tooling
Analyze complex problems and customer requirements for WCS, MFC, OFS systems
Mentor and coach junior developers
Provide technical advice and collaborate with customers and project teams
Analyze and optimize development and support processes in an international 24/7 context

Zentrale Anforderungen

7-10 years of professional software development experience
Experience in logistics, automation, or WCS+MFC environments (preferred)
Strong problem-solving and structured, solution-oriented approach
High service orientation and customer focus
Java development experience (Java >= 8) with Hibernate, Log4J, EJB
Oracle database expertise (SQL, PL/SQL)
Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Ant, Git, SVN)
Fluent German and English communication
Leadership experience in development teams or as a tech lead
Willingness to travel occasionally
WMS/WCS/MFC domain knowledge is a plus
