As Senior Software Developer at Dematic, you lead the conception, development and optimization of complex software systems for WCS, MFC and OFS. Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead software development projects from requirements analysis to go‑live
Provide technical leadership and coordinate development teams
Conduct code reviews and maintain high test coverage
Analyze complex problems and customer requirements for WCS, MFC and OFS
Mentor and coach junior developers
Provide strategic technical consultancy to customers and project teams
Analyze and optimize development and support processes in a 24/7 international environment

Zentrale Anforderungen

7–10+ years in software development, preferably in logistics/automation or WCS/MFC environments
Strong analytical problem-solving and structured approach
High service and customer orientation
Excellent Java development experience (Java >= 8, Hibernate, Log4J, EJB)
Proficiency with complex databases, especially Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL)
Experience with modern architecture concepts (MFC, design patterns)
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Ant, Git, SVN)
Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
Proven experience in technical leadership or team lead roles
Occasional willingness to travel for customer engagements and installations
In-depth understanding of logistics IT and WMS experience a plus
