Experteer Overview
As Lead for our Data Modeling Team, you will drive the design and implementation of enterprise data models based on Data Vault 2.0. You will lead a group of modelers, collaborate with subject matter experts and product owners, and translate business concepts into scalable models aligned with engineering constraints. You’ll coordinate with visualization experts to meet analytics needs and establish modeling standards across the organization. This role offers enterprise-wide impact, opportunities to advance AI and BI initiatives, and a collaborative, ethical data culture.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and mentor a data modeling team following Data Vault 2.0 principles and best practices
- Facilitate workshops and communicate business models to stakeholders
- Translate business models into logical and technical data models
- Ensure models align with technology constraints by partnering with data engineers
- Coordinate data modeling with visualization experts to support reporting and analytics
- Establish modeling standards and conduct quality reviews
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Proven experience leading data modeling teams in an enterprise environment
- Deep expertise in Data Vault 2.0 modeling (hubs, links, satellites)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, BI, and analytics needs
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders, engineers, and visualization teams
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Proficiency with automated data modeling and ETL tools
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
