Experteer Overview

In this high-visibility role you will lead the system architecture for our first industrial-scale precision manufacturing platform. You translate product objectives into system-level requirements and define modular, scalable interfaces that enable manufacturability. You’ll collaborate across physics, software, hardware, and manufacturing teams and manage external suppliers to deliver a robust tool. You will own system risk assessments and documentation, guiding the project from concept to milestone-driven delivery. This is an opportunity to help bring cutting-edge semiconductor technology into a manufacturable product and influence the long-term platform strategy.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Translate product objectives into system-level requirements and subsystem specifications
Develop and own the overall system architecture including interface definitions
Establish modular design principles for scalability and manufacturability
Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards for semiconductor equipment
Coordinate cross-functional alignment between physics, software, hardware, and manufacturing teams
Manage technical interfaces with external suppliers and strategic partners
Lead system-level risk assessments and mitigation strategies
Oversee technical project planning incl. scope, timelines, milestones
Drive system documentation standards and maintain technical records

Zentrale Anforderungen

Proven experience in design and industrialization of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Strong background in optical systems and precision metrology
Experience with structured requirements engineering methodologies
Expertise in system architecture, modularization, and interface control
Familiarity with safety and compliance standards for semiconductor tools
Experience with BOM structures, lifecycle management, and configuration control
Hands-on experience with risk analysis methodologies (e.g., FMEA) and structured troubleshooting
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication
Ability to think holistically across mechanical, optical, electrical, and software domains
