Experteer Overview

In this role you support Building Automation and Building Management System projects on Long Island, overseeing field execution from mobilization to closeout. You will coordinate installation, commissioning, and documentation while collaborating with customers, contractors, and project teams. You’ll help ensure quality, safety, and cybersecurity best practices on customer systems. This is a hands-on, field-focused role with a clear path to broaden technical and project management skills within a global leader.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead field engineering activities on BAS/BMS projects from mobilization to closeout
Coordinate installation activities, scheduling, and execution at active construction sites
Participate in startup, commissioning, and pre-functional checkout
Review drawings and specifications to ensure proper implementation
Serve as primary field liaison among project managers, engineers, subcontractors, customers, and field personnel
Attend meetings, track action items, and drive timely resolutions
Maintain project documentation, redlines, change orders, and field reports
Provide technical feedback on field modifications and change requests
Monitor progress ensuring quality, safety, and execution standards
Support cybersecurity best practices on customer systems and network-connected building technologies
Develop exposure to customer-facing project management activities

Zentrale Anforderungen

2+ years of experience in construction, building automation, controls, or related field engineering environments
Experience supporting field construction or renovation projects
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel throughout Long Island and work from project sites
