In this role you guide PFAS site investigation and remediation as a SME within ERM’s global SIR team. You will shape technical strategy, support business development, and mentor teams across North America while collaborating with ERM’s worldwide colleagues to share best practices. The position offers leadership opportunities within a large environmental firm focused on sustainable solutions for diverse industrial sectors. You will drive high-impact remediation design and client engagement at global scale.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Serve as PFAS SME on site investigation and remediation projects, product stewardship, and compliance.
Shape global go-to-market strategy for PFAS with North American leadership.
Oversee complex remediation projects across soil, groundwater, vapor, and sediment using emerging and traditional technologies.
Assist clients in developing contaminated site management strategies.
Evaluate remedial technologies for site-specific applicability (feasibility screening).
Perform remediation design tasks including data evaluation, calculations, cost estimates, and design reports.
Delegate project tasks and mentor junior staff.
Prepare technical proposals and contribute to business development with clients and leads.
Foster collaboration with ERM colleagues across the global team.

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or geology/hydrogeology
8 years of consulting experience minimum, with 15 years preferred
PFAS topic expertise including dissemination through journals or conferences
Experience guiding a remediation design project through all stages
Experience preparing detailed technical and environmental reports
Experience interacting with regulators and clients to advance projects
Excellent writing, communication, strategic thinking, and people skills
HAZWOPER 40-hour and OSHA 30-hour training (or up-to-date health and safety training)
