Experteer Overview
As Technical Subcontract Manager Combat, you will oversee the technical activities for sub-contracted combat systems, spanning above-water and underwater sensors, weapons, and command and control. You’ll coordinate engineering, interfaces, installation, verification, and acceptance to achieve a cohesive naval combat suite for ships and related facilities. You join a global naval division focused on innovative, high‑end ship systems and integration. This role offers impact through cross‑functional collaboration and complex system integration in large design and build projects.

Aufgaben
- Coordinate and manage multiple subcontractors and suppliers across project scopes
- Ensure compliance of combat systems with requirements, quality, and cost targets
- Own integration activities in medium‑value projects and manage subcontractors
- Organize and participate in project reviews
- Synchronize deliverables and obligations of subcontractors
- Participate as accepting party during milestones and tests (FAT/HAT/SAT)
- Assist warranty issues and propose/evaluate technical and cost aspects
- Support the Combat System Integrator in defining and validating interfaces
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years of technical subcontract management experience with international subcontractors
- Experience with highly complex combat systems in shipbuilding/naval sectors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid contract management skills and familiarity with technical/legal terminology
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
- Good project management experience and potentially a PM qualification
- Excellent English; Dutch and/or German or willingness to learn
- Solid references and compliance with security screening and EU citizenship requirements
