As Territory Sales Manager for Imaging Systems, you drive revenue across the Southwest/Western US by selling Raman and AFM solutions. You will partner with distributors, service, marketing and product centers to build territory plans and execute a value-based sales strategy. You will manage CRM rigorously, forecast effectively, and represent Oxford Instruments at events and with customers. This role offers international travel and close cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Hunt for new sales opportunities and develop the sales pipeline
  • Build strong relationships with distributor partners in the territory
  • Travel to meet customers, attend installations, and participate in events
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to shape proactive strategies
  • Develop relationships with third-party companies to create opportunities
  • Prospect funding agencies, government, associations, and websites for grants and awards
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and actively manage the sales funnel
  • Manage relationships with existing customers and forecast orders accurately
  • Leverage video demos and remote presentations to advance opportunities
  • Collaborate with Product Centers sales channels beyond own scope
  • Use a value selling approach to maximize offerings with minimal discounting
  • Maintain expert technical knowledge of Raman and AFM products
  • Collaborate with Applications and Service during installations and trainings
  • Control travel expenses and other costs

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • 3–5 years sales experience in the scientific space
  • Bachelor's in Materials Sciences, Chemistry, Physics or related area
  • Strong technical sales track record and professional network
  • Willingness to travel ~75% including international travel
  • Experience with CRM platforms (preferably SAP CRM)
  • Ability to present technical information clearly and to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, PPT, Excel)
  • Strong organization and detail orientation
  • Ability to develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies
