In this role, you will lead end-to-end outbound road transport from the distribution center to North and Central Europe, driving centralization at the Barcelona hub and simplifying processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to shape carrier strategy, improve service, and advance sustainability across transport flows. You’ll manage performance with carriers, optimize costs, and enable a smooth transition for the Go to Customer model. This is a pivotal role in Coty’s Europe transport transformation, offering scope to influence a best-in-class operation.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own outbound road transport flows from DC to markets
- Ensure daily service performance (OTP/OTD) and lead times
- Escalation point for transport disruptions with carriers and DCs
- Facilitate handover of operations from Germany DC to Barcelona hub
- Contribute to carrier strategy in partnership with Procurement
- Lead carrier performance cycles (QBRs, KPI reviews) and conduct regular reviews with LSPs
- Standardize critical work processes, tools and KPIs within Central G2C team
- Drive efficiency initiatives such as consolidation and capacity alignment
- Support RFQs, tender evaluations, cost simulations and supplier selection for road transport
- Communicate with LSPs and DCs to ensure smooth product flow
- Own transport cost performance and monitor budget alignment
- Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising service
- Contribute to sustainability goals with greener transport flows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DCs, CS, Procurement, IT, Finance
- Manage stakeholder relationships across a matrix organization
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 8-10 years of transport/logistics experience, including road freight across multiple EU countries
- Experience in parcel distribution and express courier management
- Experience in multinational environments; transformation/centralization projects or shared-service operations
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven problem solving
- Operational rigor to stabilize and improve complex transport flows
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing across levels and geographies
- Strong team player in a complex matrix organization
- Advanced Excel & Power BI skills; SAP is an advantage
- Strong communication skills; fluency in English; German a plus
- Autonomous and able to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Ability to translate complexity into simple, actionable insights
