In this role you will identify, pilot, and deploy warehouse automation technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness. You will collaborate with operations, design, IT, and business stakeholders to select and implement solutions that scale across regions. You will validate designs, manage pilots, and support go-live activities to deliver measurable operational gains. This position offers hands-on ownership of automation projects from concept through deployment, with a focus on cross-functional impact.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead automation selection and validation for RFPs and new business projects
- Develop ROI justifications and design options to optimize solutions
- Support design validation and review for feasibility, cost, SLA targets
- Coordinate automation procurement activities and vendor evaluations
- Assist with project management for smaller initiatives, tracking milestones and punch lists
- Support SAT testing and post-go-live hypercare and issue resolution
- Profile data to support system optimization and perform data analysis for decision making
- Coordinate on-site support, communications with vendors, and escalation handling
- Contribute to Proof of Concept implementations and pilot deployments
- Align automation initiatives with cross-functional strategy and goals
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor or Master in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years in warehouse automation, material handling technologies, or warehouse systems integration
- Experience with automation technologies such as sortation conveyors, autonomous vehicles/robots, AS/RS
- Knowledge of WMS and data analytics; CAD, simulation, and design tools is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
