International Sales Director

Clemens Food Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of International and Industrial Sales to lead our Export and Rendering sales teams. As a key leader, you will be responsible for shaping our sales strategy, driving growth in key international markets, and exceeding margin goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the vision for export, rendering, and variety channels. Partner with key international markets, including China, Korea, and Japan, to drive business growth and align on sales objectives.
  • Performance & Process Management: Monitor and exceed margin targets by evaluating partnerships and product strategies. Implement actionable plans to optimize inventory levels and ensure financial processes are effective.
  • Business Development: Spearhead product development initiatives and collaborate with operations leadership to refine product specifications and enhance profitability.
  • Talent Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ proven experience leading a sales team to drive business growth in international markets with responsibility for P&L results
  • International experience preferred (China and Japan)
  • Protein/Pork experience preferred
  • Pet Food and Rendering knowledge a Plus
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for interpreting data and making strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a talent for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team, fostering an environment of growth and achievement.
